Hermitage pigs launched in Mexico

On July 15th, the first shipment with 95GP Large White gilts, 230 Classic 1 gilts, 7 GP Landrace boarsand 18 MQM boars from Hermitage NGT arrived to Mexico; after the official quarantine period those animals were distributed to customers in the west and central regions of Mexico. In the middle of September during the National Pig Producers Congress(Encuerntro Nacional de Porcicultura), Hermitage NGT will be officially launched in Mexico; Dr. Jose Ignacio Linares and his team from Agromax Importanciones, are in charge of all the marketing efforts to develop this new market for Hermitage genetics.
