High Health Restocks-Set to continue

After a difficult start to 2008, in line with the global downturn in the pig industry, the past 12 months has seen the demand for Hermitage high health genetics continue to grow, with over 47,000 high health gilts supplied to restock cusotmer herds. In addition to the Irish Market, breeding stock has been supplied to producers in Europe, Russia and the USA. Hermitage High Health genetics have been shipped to customers around the world and the success of the Hermitage 'Closed Herd BLUP Programme' has encouraged many serious producers to look at their existing breeding programmes and opt to change to the Hermitage Programme.

Sales of high health Hermitage genetics are set to continue with monthly shipments to Russia already confirmed for the next 12 months.
